Welcome to Morocco, land of many good-humored greetings. Well, one thing they definitely DON'T teach you in Modern Standard Arabic class is that the things you learn are, almost entirely, inapplicable to real life, and really will not do a stitch of good in Morocco. It has been quite an experience - a wonderful, crazy, fun, confusing, hillarious time, and I'm sad to leave.
