a black beetle (are there scarabs in morocco?) the size of a ping-pong ball just flew in through my screenless window, flitted around noisily for a few minutes, and knocked itself out against the wall. after which, i gently returned it to its home outside the window...


indeed, it looked just like these... only bigger...
